He has been involved in advising clients across a variety of segments including internet and media, application software, SaaS, infrastructure software, online gaming, IT security, storage and tech-enabled services. John graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of London in 2000. He started his career within the technology M&A division of DC Advisory (formerly Close Brothers) and subsequently Strata Technology Partners before moving to Cavendish in 2008. He has successfully completed over 50 corporate finance transactions mostly valued between £15m and £100m. Successful assignments include M&A (Sell-side/Buyside), LBO, Public Takeovers, Public-to-Private and Fundraising transactions. Firm Profile finnCap Group was established the firm in 2007, after orchestrating the partial buyout of the corporate finance and broking business of JM Finn & Co Limited, a private client stockbroker. At that time, finnCap was just a small team focused on raising capital for micro-cap companies.
