He was previously a Vice Chairman of Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. He began his investment banking career at Bear Stearns in Hong Kong in 1994 and subsequently joined Morgan Stanley in 1997. Over the course of his 22 year ca- reer at Morgan Stanley, Crawford started the Asia-Pacific technol- ogy investment banking business in 1999 and subsequently served as co-head of Equity Capital Markets for Asia Pacific, co-head of Global Capital Markets for Asia Pacific and finally Vice Chairman of Global Capital Markets. Dur- ing this period, he led some of world’s highest profile financ- ings, for clients including Alibaba, Ant, and Softbank, among oth- ers. He also served on Morgan Stanley’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee.
