FINANCE MONTHLY M&A AWARDS 2020 117 ABOUT GEORGE FLACK George Flack OAM (Order of Australia Medal) has been working within the Financial Services Industry for over 45 years beginning with the National Bank in 1972 followed by nearly 15 years in the Dept of Social Security (now Centrelink) andsince2ndNovember 1987 to13thDecember 2020 as a Director and Financial Planner of Flack Advisory Services Group Eaglehawk. Since December 2020 now a Director of Flack Advisory, George oversees the day to day running of his successful firm, in which he employs a strong team of Financial Planners and support staff, that provide a range of advice areas, like Superannuation, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Aged Care and Centrelink just to name a few. George has won the coveted “Money Magazine’s” Financial Planner of the Year Award in 1996 and 2004. George was awarded a Fellow of the FPA(Aust) in 2012. George was recently awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his service to the Bendigo community and to the finance sector.
