ABOUT JD SYMINGTON is a co-founder of the Pallidus Group and was previously employed at Nedbank Capital. JD obtained first place in the country for his second SAICA board exam and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Honours (CTA) degree from the University of the Free State. In addition, he also completed Level I of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) programme, as well as the JSE Sponsor Development Course in 2012 and has since been awarded JSE Approved Executive status. Throughout his career, JD has advised on a number of corporate finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, BEE transactions and listings, and has an in-depth understanding of the South African and Namibian market and agricultural sector.
