The distribution service consists of equity sales and corporate broking. Our History Arden was formed in 2002 – the founding team having worked together at Albert E Sharp Securities and Old Mutual Securities. Following several years of impressive growth, Arden floated on AIM in 2006, with a significant amount of equity being held by the firms directors and senior employees. In 2017Arden raised a further tranche of equity with the objective of positioning the balance sheet ahead of the uncertainities caused to markets by the introduction of MiFIDII legislation. The opportunity was also taken to ‘institutionalise’ the shareholder register. ABOUT JOHN LLEWELLYN- LLOYD John joined Arden from BESI/Execution Noble in 2014, bringing over 25 years of corporate finance experience to the role. He was previously Head of Corporate Finance at Hill Samuel Merchant Bank, a former CEO of Corporate Finance and Executive Director of Close Brothers and a CEO of Investment Banking at Noble & Co. Having run and built people businesses for many years, since 2008, John has focused on advising professional service businesses with a particular emphasis on fundraising and M&A and the use of ABS’s. John has extensive legal services experience and works with some of the most innovative legal businesses and funders in the space.
